Jan R. Nöetzold is the Founder, Vice President, and the Chairman of Capitalsave Investment Partners (CsIP) Board Members. As a Founding Partner, he has been with the firm since its inception in 2007.
Jan previously held overall responsibility for managing the business as Vice President and is a member of the Capitalsave Investment Partners Group’s Executive Committee. Originating as an institutional convertible bond manager, Capitalsave Investments has grown into a global asset management firm with institutional and individual clients worldwide, headquartered in Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with offices in Zurich, Qatar, and Palm Beach.
As a pioneer in convertible funds since 1998, he developed strategies to manage client risk during volatile times. He also established one of the first liquid alternative funds in 2000, showcasing a focus on innovation that continues today. Jan has built a reputation for using investment techniques to control risk, preserve capital, and build wealth for clients over the long term.
In 2010, Jan joined Architas, a fledgling UK asset management business wholly owned by AXA, where he grew the business to over £40 billion in assets, operating across 13 countries. He graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and holds a Master's degree in Economics, alongside completing his MBA at INSEAD in 2004.
As an active philanthropist, Jan supports educational institutions and Hellenic organizations, having been honored for his lifetime contributions by various organizations. With over thirty years of experience analyzing equity markets and securities worldwide, he manages client portfolios with diverse mandates.
Jan is the CEO and Group CIO of Capitalsave Investment Partners, chairs the CIO Forum and the Global Equity Research Forum, and is a senior member of the Global Equity Strategy Committee.
He studied business administration and law during his academic training and earned his doctorate in strategic corporate management. Jan received an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Hellenic College Holy Cross and, alongside his brother, managed one of the leading European IT companies in risk management. He earned a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. in finance from BTEC Dubai, where he established Endowed Chairs in Philosophy and Business and serves on the Board of Trustees.
Jan is also active on several supervisory and administrative boards and as a shareholder in investment companies, while serving as a lecturer on risk management and as a founder and business angel for startups such as Simulation Laboratories, MTC, and Capital Investment Partners.
